change- a fundamental phenomenon.

You all must've heard of Darwin right? He propounded a theory of evolution. It said, "only the strong will survive". How did the life forms grow since then? That we don't know. But what we do know, is that they went through and adapted to change. Change, in layman's terms is alteration or modification . Change, is a timeless process. It has no start and no end either. Things change, situations change, society changes, scenarios change, planets, sun, overall, the whole universe is constantly changing. Then I still can't comprehend why and how are the human mindsets nor changing. I personally feel that " a stationary mindset is equal to a stagnant water tank ". It has no use whatsoever, compared to the changing society. Like, I'll start from the very basics in the mind of a teenager NOW. We love to roam free, with friends, tryna touch the clouds and all and most importantly, taking matters in our own hands and learning through our experiences. But,

Animal abuse-A cause worth fighting for

Animals. What are animals though? All living beings which eat, breathe, move and reproduce are animals. We too are animals. Then what's the difference between homo sapiens and other species? Well, our brain evolved and we got something called "common sense ". Slowly, man evolved to be a social animal. Concepts like  humanity came into existence.  But let's be honest, what's the use of this humanity when we are becoming wild animals ourselves? We are exploiting the other species on earth to our satisfaction, mercilessly.  Humans have a tendency, we hate and ignore the things we can't comprehend...and we are always power hungry that the other species on this earth are regarded as insignificant beings. In olden days, animals used to co-exist with humans, while we treated them as equals. Our S anatana dharma  is based on the basic principle of virtue of kindness.  Nowadays, we are sadly getting news articles saying, pregnant elephant in kerala fed with an explosiv

Avoiding people-101

Image
First off, we've heard many times that "ignorance is bliss", "silence is the best form of punishment", etc. by our elders...fact is, avoiding a person kinda kills him from the inside. Physical torture can be endured after long, but never mental torture. And this is the deadliest form of mentally torturing a person.  So today i watched ep.4 of LOKI, A series based on an asgardian villain from marvel studios, I come across a dialogue. Loki, was imprisoned in a bad memory prison, wherein his worst memory keeps on playing with him in it. There he was told:"you are alone and always will be so!". This was so relatable. He felt alone as his OWN brother was alienated by his father, away from him. When I say AVOID/IGNORE, it means to refuse to take notice of or acknowledge; disregard intentionally . This not only includes you avoiding a person cause he/she did a mistake, it also includes you avoiding a person cause he/she is boring, and seems like a jerk. Well,

Gender inequality; a stereotype turned social evil…

Often these days, we hear many things about crimes against women. Acid attacks, murders, sexual assaults, even honour killings are done against women. When we read this, the first emotion which crosses the mind is anger, not seep sorrow. To be honest, I actually did visualize the criminals of such heinous crimes receiving stringent punishment. People’s minds often go with emotion first, the logic next. Then we experience sorrow and regret and we get a tiny feeling; “Arrey Bhagwan! If I was there, I would’ve been able to do something, may God bless her soul…” Then we come to the logical reasoning. “okay, so the unfortunate happened, I just can’t go back in time to prevent it now, unfortunately. Well, what can I do?” as they say, “prevention is better than cure” so instead of finding a cure to this malaise, we can try our level best in preventing this to happen. And the best we can do is provide awareness. We, the future of our country and the world must start promoting the fact that e

Femininity is divinity...

Image
When you go out like a YouTuber who asks questions, and ask, “who is a girl? Or how do you define a woman?”. You just get plenty of diverse answers. Of all those answers, the similar thing you’d be hearing I guess is that a girl is a gender. She is a counterpart of a man. According to Oxford, “A woman is an adult female human being”. But is that really it? Well, I got a slightly complex, but befitting answer to this question, in my opinion. Well, I feel that femininity is a highly important component of nature. A woman, an adult human being, is that one key with which the world works. Now, you may be thinking on a superficial level, but nope, I’m just trying to reiterate the importance of women in everyday life; and not just humans, females are there in animals, birds and even minute insects. You have a yin and yang, that is balance. And women are the angels of restoring balance. Throughout history, they have fought for peace, rights, freedom, honour, dignity, empowerment, security,

Amigos, the essential part of our lives

It was on August 17 th . A small issue got elevated into a scuffle just because I lost my cool. And when a short-tempered person like me got angry, I went by the emotion, not by logic. So I had a huge fight, and then they never spoke to me again. The saddest part about this is that they didn’t even wish me on my birthday. It took me almost 4 months to apologize and change… Oh yeah, by the way, I've heard people saying breakups hurt the most. Well, they’re totally wrong. The worst pain is felt when a best friend blocks you out of their lives forever. If friends argue, it is still ok, because they are at least conversing. But the void which is left out with a friend’s silence hurts the most. It will just be like a sharp sword inserted deep into your heart, and it can’t be taken out again. Well, according to me, friends are those ppl who are the pillars of strength. they can be with us in times and places where sometimes where our family can't. Trips with friends are highly pr

Rumors and Assumptions-Potent Toxins

In general, there are two kinds of people on this earth. Admirers and haters. Admirers consist of your family, friends, your known acquaintances, your well-wishers, etc. As for the haters, I think most of the people do have haters (just an assumption because it has become a normie these days). In our childhood, we had haters among our friends itself. We picked up a quarrel, we fight, we don’t talk and then we pass comments and spread rumours about that one person who never left our side when we needed him the most. Trivial issues like these were prevalent and friends used to patch up after a pep-talk. But that’s now it is as we grow up gradually. We get to overthink about rumours on us, we rack our brains, spoil our mood, and ultimately, we end up spoiling our day. What are these rumours though? Many people think they are just mere words which won’t be having an effect when spoken out. Well, they’re wrong. Our human tongue is a beast which only a few people can tame and m
